Richa is a member of the corporate and commercial litigation team. Richa advices clients on matters pertaining to Commercial Agency, Company Law, Real Estate Law, Corporate Restructuring and Estate Planning and Labour Laws of the UAE. Apart from general corporate matters, Richa is also experienced in DIFC Litigation and Arbitration.
Before her stint at Goodwins, Richa practiced criminal litigation in New Delhi, India for three years, specialising in economic offences and appeared regularly before various courts including the High Court of Delhi and Supreme Court of India which gave her in depth knowledge of Indian Laws especially the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, Indian Penal Code, 1860, Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and the Indian Evidence Act, 1872.
Richa was called to the Bar in 2015 after graduating in B.A. LL.B from ILS Law College, Pune, India.
Richa is fluent in English and Hindi.
